Jr. Accountant

Role & responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Assist in managing the general ledger, including posting journal entries and maintaining accurate records.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Assist in preparing tax filings, reports, and schedules, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 0-2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (experience with accounting software is a plus).
• Basic understanding of financial reporting and analysis.
