Job Description :

Title : Web Test Engineer (Remote).

Location : Remote.

Work Shift : Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM to 1:30 AM IST.

Summary :

We are looking for a Web Test Engineer who will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications.

Success in this role means identifying and resolving issues efficiently, collaborating with developers to enhance system performance, and ensuring an optimal user experience.

This position is key to maintaining high standards for our web applications and delivering a seamless experience for end users.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases for web applications.

- Utilize Java and Selenium to create and maintain test automation frameworks.

- Perform functional, regression, cross-browser, and UI testing to ensure software stability.

- Identify, document, and track software defects, working with developers for quick resolution.

- Implement and integrate test automation in CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.

- Maintain version control of test scripts and test cases using Git/GitHub.

- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.

- Stay updated with the latest QA trends, tools, and best practices to enhance testing efficiency.

Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in Web Testing with Java and Selenium.

- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and testing methodologies.

- Hands-on experience with QA Ops and integration with DevOps workflows.

- Proficiency in Git/GitHub for version control and collaboration.

- Experience with JIRA or similar defect-tracking and test management tools.

- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues effectively.

- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) :

- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.

- Familiarity with cloud testing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Exposure to security testing methodologies.
