Associate Professor

Teaching and Academics:

• Deliver lectures, seminars, and practical training sessions in Ophthalmology for MBBS and postgraduate students.
• Develop and update the curriculum in accordance with regulatory standards and departmental goals.
• Supervise dissertations, case studies, and research projects undertaken by students.
• Evaluate student performance through assessments, examinations, and feedback sessions.

Clinical Duties:

• Provide specialized clinical care in the Ophthalmology department, including outpatient and inpatient services.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including surgeries.
• Supervise and mentor junior faculty, residents, and interns during clinical rotations.
• Participate in clinical case discussions and departmental meetings.

Research and Publications:

• Conduct independent and collaborative research in the field of Ophthalmology.
• Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at national and international conferences.
• Seek opportunities for grants and funding to support research initiatives.

Administrative Duties:

• Contribute to departmental and institutional activities, including faculty meetings, accreditation processes, and policy development.
• Participate in committees related to academic, clinical, or administrative activities.

Community Engagement:

• Participate in health camps, outreach programs, and community-based initiatives organized by the university and hospital.
• Promote awareness about eye health and preventive care.
