Consultant- Accounts Payable (1 year contract)

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoice & Payment Processing: Review, verify, and process invoices and payments in timely manner. Adhere to the company policies and tax compliance. Ensure that invoices are accurately matched with purchase orders and goods receipt note.
• Vendor Management: Maintain and update vendor records, including payment terms, contacts, and banking information. Resolve any discrepancies or issues with vendors promptly.
• Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts payable to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records. Investigate any discrepancies and take corrective action as needed.
• Audit and Compliance: Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and supporting documents for external auditors during year-end audits. Ensure all accounts payable activities comply with company and legal regulations.
• Reporting: Month end closing activities, preparation of schedules as per instructions. Maintain MSME vendor report for half-yearly return filling.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable. Experience with Tally ERP.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
