PENNEP is seeking for a Video Editor to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will assist in editing raw video footage into polished, engaging final products for various media platforms, ensuring all content meets our brand and editorial standards. Responsibilities
Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging final products for various media platforms, including social media, website, and broadcast.
Ensure all video content meets the organization s quality standards and aligns with our brand guidelines and editorial voice.
Collaborate with producers, directors, and other team members to understand project goals and deliver creative solutions.
Assist in planning and producing video content, including interviews, news segments, documentaries, promotional videos, and other media projects.
Utilize various editing software and tools to enhance video content with graphics, special effects, transitions, and sound effects.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in video production and editing.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for video projects and content strategies.
Review and revise video content based on feedback from team members, ensuring all revisions are completed accurately and promptly.
Conduct final checks on all edited videos before publication to ensure they are free of errors and meet the highest standards.
Requirements
Proven experience in video editing and production, including familiarity with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects.
Strong understanding of video production techniques, including color correction, audio mixing, and video compression.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and storytelling.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to take and implement feedback.
Familiarity with the media industry and a passion for creating engaging, high-quality video content.
Nice to Have
Knowledge of sound design and audio editing Basic understanding of live streaming software and technologies. Knowledge of current social media video trends and best practices. Understanding of web video formats and video hosting platforms. Photography skills and experience with photo editing software.
Education
bachelors degree in film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree in these fields)
