Work experience: 12+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing, with at least 2 years in a lead/manager role.

Skill: Strong experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end QA process, from test planning to test execution and defect resolution.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications.
• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Web).
• Review and analyze product requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using bug-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily standups, and sprint reviews.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior QA engineers, promoting best practices in testing, documentation, and process improvement.
• Perform regression testing, performance testing, and usability testing to ensure system reliability and functionality.
• Track and report on testing progress, issues, and results, providing feedback to the team and leadership.
• Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance the overall testing effectiveness and efficiency.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
• Familiarity with bug-tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Bugzilla).
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of security testing practices and tools.
• Experience with UI/UX testing and ensuring accessibility standards.
• ISTQB or other QA certifications are a plus.
