Job Overview :

As a Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in designing intuitive, user-friendly, and engaging experiences for our astrology platform. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to craft seamless, delightful user interfaces that resonate with our target audience. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for design, user experience (UX), and innovation to help create products that make a meaningful impact on people's lives.

Responsibilities :

- End-to-End Design : Lead the design process from concept to execution, including research, wireframes, prototypes, UI design, and implementation.

- User Research : Conduct user research and usability testing to understand customer needs and pain points, utilizing insights to inform design decisions.

- Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other cross-functional teams to iterate on designs and create solutions that align with business goals.-

- Design Systems : Develop and maintain a cohesive design system that ensures consistency and quality across all product touchpoints.

- UI/UX Design : Create visually stunning and functional UI designs that are user-centric, while ensuring seamless UX across web and mobile platforms.

- Branding & Identity : Contribute to the development of Hi Astro's visual identity and ensure it is reflected consistently across all user interfaces.

- Iterative Improvement : Advocate for continuous design improvements based on user feedback, A/B testing, and analytics.

- Prototyping & Testing : Build prototypes and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts and validate with users.

Qualifications :

- Experience : 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer, UI/UX Designer, or similar role, preferably in consumer-facing tech products or lifestyle brands.

- Portfolio : A strong portfolio showcasing your end-to-end design process, problem-solving skills, and ability to create intuitive user interfaces.

- Design Tools : Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, etc.

- User-Centered Design : Deep understanding of UX/UI principles, design thinking methodologies, and user research techniques.

- Collaboration : Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.

- Communication Skills : Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present your design ideas and rationale to various stakeholders.

- Agile Experience : Comfortable working in an agile development environment, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.

- Experience in the astrology, wellness, or lifestyle industries.

- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic front-end development skills.
