Asst. Manangement Representative- APIQ1

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Management Representative to oversee the implementation of the American Petroleum Institute (API) Q1 specification in our organization. The Management Representative will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the API Q1 standard are fully implemented and integrated into our quality management system. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership and communication skills, a thorough understanding of the API Q1 specification, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for the implementation of the API Q1 specification
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams in the implementation process
• Ensure compliance with all aspects of the API Q1 specification, including documentation requirements, quality control processes, and risk management
• Conduct regular audits to ensure ongoing compliance with the API Q1 specification
• Identify and address any non-conformities and work with teams to implement corrective and preventive actions
• Develop and deliver training programs for employees on the API Q1 specification and related quality management practices
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal and external audits related to the API Q1 specification
• Work closely with senior management to ensure ongoing commitment to the implementation of the API Q1 specification
• Continuously monitor industry trends and best practices related to quality management and make recommendations for improvement as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management, including experience in implementing and managing compliance with the API Q1 specification
• Strong knowledge of the API Q1 specification and related quality management standards and practices
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in conducting audits and implementing corrective and preventive actions
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience in developing and delivering training programs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems is a plus
