Senior Financial Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Analysis and Reporting:
   
• Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to support business decisions.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, including variance analysis, forecasting, and trend identification.
• Provide actionable insights to senior leadership by analyzing financial results and key performance indicators (KPIs).

1. Budgeting and Forecasting:
   
• Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Manage rolling forecasts and assist in the development of multi-year strategic financial plans.
• Collaborate with department leaders to ensure budget adherence and address variances.
2. Strategic Support:
   
• Conduct market, competitor, and economic analyses to inform business strategies.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities and propose strategies to mitigate risks or capitalize on opportunities.
• Support M&A initiatives, including due diligence, valuation modeling, and integration planning.

1. Cross-functional Collaboration:
   
• Partner with operational teams to evaluate cost structures, improve efficiency, and optimize profitability.
• Work closely with accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations.
• Communicate financial results and recommendations to stakeholders through presentations and reports.

1. Process Improvement:
   
• Streamline financial analysis and reporting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Implement and leverage financial systems and tools to improve data integrity and decision-making capabilities.

Qualifications:

1. Education and Certification:
   
• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
• Professional certification such as CFA, CPA, or CMA is a plus.
2. Experience:
   
• 2+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, preferably in a senior or similar role.
• Strong experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting.
3. Technical Skills:
   
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Workday) and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
