Job Description: Transport Executive

Experience: 5 to 7 years

Education: Diploma or degree in the mechanical field

School Experience: Mandatory

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fleet Management: Oversee and manage a fleet of 30 to 50 vehicles ensuring timely and efficient transport operations.
2. Route Planning: Expertise in route planning and optimization within Delhi NCR ensuring effective and cost-efficient transportation.
3. Vehicle Maintenance & Upkeep: Ensure regular maintenance and proper upkeep of BS4 vehicles monitoring health and safety standards.
4. Team Leadership: Lead and supervise transportation staff fostering a positive and productive work environment.
5. MS Office Proficiency: Strong command of MS Office Suite particularly Excel Outlook and email communication.
6. Transport Efficiency: Ensure the effective use of the transport fleet optimizing resources and minimizing downtime.
7. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all operations comply with relevant transport and safety regulations and keep detailed records for operational reporting.
8. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance particularly BS4 vehicles.

Skills:

1. Leadership and team management.
2. Route planning expertise.
3. Effective communication skills in both written and verbal formats.
4. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel Outlook etc.).

Key Attributes:

1. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
2. In-depth knowledge of Delhi NCR transport routes.
3. Ability to handle and manage a large team of drivers and support staff effectively.

Note: Candidates from Delhi NCR with previous school transport management experience are strongly preferred.
