Trainee - React Native Technologies

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Trainee in React Native Technologies to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who have a foundational understanding of mobile development, a zeal for learning, and hands-on experience from academic and internship projects. The selected candidate will work closely with our development team to build, enhance, and maintain cutting-edge mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Mobile Application Development:
• Develop cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
• Implement interactive and responsive UI/UX designs.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot any technical issues.
2. Collaboration & Learning:
• Collaborate with senior developers and other team members to understand project requirements and deliverables.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in mobile technologies.
3. Code Development & Maintenance:
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.
4. Integration with Back-End Systems:
• Work with RESTful APIs to integrate the app with back-end services.
• Ensure seamless data flow between the front-end and back-end systems.
5. Testing & Debugging:
• Conduct unit testing and debugging of the application to ensure stability and performance.
• Work on identifying and fixing bugs or performance bottlenecks.
6. Documentation:
• Maintain technical documentation for code, APIs, and project workflows.
• Assist in creating user guides or training material as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. Education:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Must have completed an academic project in mobile app development (preferably using React Native).
2. Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Familiarity with mobile development frameworks and tools, including Redux, Expo, or similar.
• Basic understanding of iOS and Android development environments (Xcode, Android Studio).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party library integration.
• Basic understanding of mobile app testing frameworks such as Jest or Detox.
3. Experience:
• Completed one hands-on project as an intern during industry training.
• Knowledge of Git and version control systems.
• Experience working with responsive design principles.
4. Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with mobile app deployment processes (App Store, Google Play Store).
• Knowledge of mobile database management systems (SQLite, Realm, etc.).
• Basic understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of debugging tools like Flipper.
