Cath Lab Nurse

Patel Hospital is seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Nurse specialized in Interventional Cardiology to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role requires expertise in assisting with invasive cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures, and supporting the cardiology team in the Cath Lab environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist interventional cardiologists in performing procedures such as angiograms, angioplasties, stent placements, and other cardiac interventions.
• Prepare the Cath Lab equipment and maintain a sterile environment.
• Monitor patients vital signs before, during, and after procedures.
• Provide patient education regarding interventional cardiology procedures and post-procedure care.
• Administer medications as prescribed, including sedatives and pain management.
• Ensure patient safety and assist with emergency procedures if required.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures, vital signs, and any complications.
• Assist in the calibration and maintenance of Cath Lab equipment.
• Collaborate with the cardiology team to ensure the smooth running of the Cath Lab.
