About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our Backend team.

This team is pivotal to the core infrastructure of our game, handling everything from user authentication and promotional functionalities to data storage and analytics.

Responsibilities :

- Design and develop large-scale, distributed services to support the platform's needs.

- Architect and implement new user-facing features with a focus on functionality and scalability.

- Take ownership of critical components within the platform, driving innovation and improvements.

- Enhance the system's efficiency, scalability, stability, and security.

- Collaborate closely with product management and design teams to refine feature specifications.

- Prioritize, set timelines, and manage individual project deliverables.

- Actively participate in recruiting and mentoring new engineering talent.

Experience & Qualifications :

- Experience : 3+ years in software engineering, with a strong foundation in computer science principles, data structures, algorithms, and software design.

- Expertise in PHP and proficiency with REST APIs, multiserver applications, and distributed systems.

- Database Knowledge : Hands-on experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases.

- System Understanding : Thorough understanding of distributed systems, including scalability and availability.

- Concurrency & Memory Management : Proficient in handling concurrency, synchronization, and memory optimization.

- Cloud Experience : Familiarity with IaaS platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Additional Language Skills : Experience with Node.js, Python, or similar languages is an advantage.

- Cache Stores : Knowledge of Redis or Memcache.

- Framework Flexibility : Comfortable working within or outside of established frameworks as needed.

- Startup Experience : Previous experience in a startup environment is a plus.

- Communication Skills : Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to various stakeholders
