Marketplace Executive

Location: Gurgaon, Haryana

Expected CTC: 3-6L


About Us:

We are a fast-growing D2C beauty brand looking for a results-driven Marketplace Executive to oversee and optimize our presence across leading e-commerce platforms and quick-commerce such as Nykaa, Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, Blinkit and other relevant beauty marketplaces. This role requires a deep understanding of marketplace operations, sales strategies, inventory management, and performance marketing to drive growth and maximize brand visibility.


Key Responsibilities:

Multi-Platform Marketplace Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations on Nykaa, Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, Blinkit and other relevant beauty-focused marketplaces.
  • Ensure all product listings are optimized, updated, and compliant with each platforms guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate product descriptions, pricing, images, and promotional content tailored to each marketplace.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with each platforms operational policies.

Sales Growth & Strategy:

  • Develop and implement marketplace-specific sales strategies to boost revenue and brand reach.
  • Identify growth opportunities through campaigns, promotions, and partnerships unique to each marketplace.
  • Continuously analyze sales trends and adapt strategies to align with the competitive marketplace environment.

Inventory & Stock Management:

  • Maintain optimal stock levels across all platforms to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure smooth replenishment and order fulfillment for each marketplace.
  • Manage marketplace-specific fulfillment centers (e.g., Nykaa ONDC, Amazon FBA, Flipkart Smart Fulfillment).

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

  • Analyze sales performance, product rankings, conversion rates, and customer feedback on each marketplace.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports to track KPIs and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.

Promotions & Marketing:

  • Plan and execute seasonal campaigns, discounts, and exclusive platform-specific offers
    • Leverage platform marketing tools (e.g., Amazon Ads, Nykaa Sponsored Listings, Flipkart Boost, Myntra Ads) to maximize conversions and visibility.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure brand consistency across all marketplace assets.

Customer Service & Reputation Management:

  • Work closely with the customer service team to resolve customer queries, returns, and escalations across platforms.
  • Monitor customer reviews, ratings, and feedback to enhance the brands reputation and improve product positioning.
  • Implement strategies to increase positive reviews and manage product Q&A sections effectively.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with category managers across all platforms.
  • Negotiate better visibility placements, promotional slots, and exclusive brand campaigns with marketplace partners.
  • Stay updated on marketplace algorithm changes, policy updates, and new feature rollouts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field.
  • 1–4 years of experience in managing e-commerce marketplaces, preferably in the beauty, skincare, or cosmetics industry.
  • Deep understanding of marketplace algorithms, SEO for product listings, and platform-specific marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Google Analytics, and marketplace dashboard tools.
  • Experience in inventory forecasting and customer service coordination.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
