Safety Supervisor (DAY SHIFT/NIGHT SHIFT)

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory authorities and industry standards.
• Regularly inspect plant site and conduct risk assessments to identify potential risks and take corrective and preventive actions to avoid such hazards.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with environmental regulations, including waste disposal, pollution prevention, and conservation efforts.
• Provide training and awareness to employees and workers.
• Coordinate with different departments to ensure overall development of safety first culture.
• Coordinate safety audits and maintain documentation for the same.
• Prepare monthly reports and checklists for safety
• Ensure proper maintenance of all the equipment in the factory.

Preferred candidate profile

• Candidate should have a Diploma, Bachelor's degree in Science (B.Sc.) or Engineering (B.E.) with a specialization in Safety, Environmental Science, or related fields and PG diploma in Industrial safety.
• Should have experience of about 2 years in field of Industrial safety or any relevant field.
• Calm and decisive in emergency situations.
• Proactive and attentive to details.
