Research scientist-I (A. R&D - Synthesis) & (B. Analytical - R&D)

Role & responsibilities

A) Research scientist-I (R&D - Synthesis)

• Ensure Safety at work place
• Independently design & execute a series of experiments to test hypothesis related to project outcomes
• Apply Scientific Knowledge to Projects while following Scientific documents, literature & standard SOPs
• Optimize reaction conditions and troubleshoot technical issues
• Maintain complete and comprehensive records of experimental results along with interpretation of analytical datas for project completion
• Write experimental summaries and project reports
• Assist with revisions to SOPs, laboratory records & other documents as assigned
• Actively Participate in routine maintenance and lab safety
• Prioritize studies and activities to align with project goals and be responsible for timely project completion

• Assist in the training/coaching of new research associate/ scientist. Provide technical & scientific leadership to other team members
• Maintain a high level of professional expertise by staying current with scientific literature
• Perform other duties as assigned by HOD

B) Research scientist-I (Analytical - R&D)

• Ensure Safety at work place
• Should have expertise in handling & calibration of instruments like HPLC, GC, AAS, Moisture Analyzer, UV spectrophotometer etc
• Should have expertise in Development & Validation of Analytical Methods
• Maintenance of Reference standard, working standards & their standardization
• Should have expertise in all Wet Chemical analysis
• Assist in the training of new research associate/ scientist. Provide technical & scientific leadership to other team members
• Should have some experience in Q/C & Q/A documentation & SOP preparation
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager
