Responsibilities:
Production Planning and Scheduling:
Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demands and production capacity.
Monitor production progress and adjust plans as needed to optimize resource utilization.
Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth production flow.
Team Management:
Lead and motivate a team of production planners, schedulers, and supervisors.
Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Quality Assurance:
Implement and maintain quality control systems to ensure products meet specifications.
Conduct regular quality audits and identify areas for improvement.
Work closely with the quality assurance team to address quality issues.
Inventory Management:
Optimize inventory levels to minimize carrying costs and stockouts.
Implement inventory control systems to track and manage inventory accurately.
Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Utilize lean manufacturing principles and other continuous improvement methodologies.
Analyze production data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
Qualification -Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Certification in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or related fields, Familiarity with ISO standards and compliance regulations.
