Job Description

We're hiring for Assistant Managers & Managers for UK Accounting


Key Responsibilities:

  • Overview of the year-end closing and finalization of books.
  • Working on UK/client queries concerning financial statements and providing solutions.
  • Managing the client calls.
  • Regular review of statement tracker/supplier reconciliation portal.
  • Random review of financial statements.
  • Timely submission of review ratings on task manager.
  • Periodic review of team performance through reporting portal (Kaizen).
  • Participate in year-end performance review of the team.
  • Random review of AR / AP reports.
  • Respond to emails on a timely basis (48 hours).
  • Ensure that the new client is updated & trained on internal tools or software (if any of the processes is not set up during onboarding)
  • Task Manager setup - including the checklist (coordinating with onboarding team and Assistant Manager)

Business Management

  • Preparing a half-yearly business plan by coordinating with all the team
  • Follow through a half-yearly business plan to take corrective measures, as applicable.
  • Maintaining client v/s employee ratio (efficiency) - maintaining profitability

Client Management

  • Quality Assurance.
  • Timely delivery of client reports.
  • Support & coordination with the compliance team.
  • Be open to new roles and new processes.

Team Management

  • Motivating & mentoring the team.
  • Conducting periodic One on One meetings with team members.
  • Perform half-yearly performance reviews of team members.
  • Resource planning and allocation.
  • Make sure internal processes and systems are adhered to.
  • Resource planning and helping in assigning employees.
  • Help develop a disciplined environment & maintain decorum within the team (per the HR policies).
  • Plan & achieve individual growth plan of the employee within the team.
  • Developing communication skills within the Team.

Self-Development

  • Setting up goals for enhancement of leadership skills.
  • Follow through personal development plan at regular Interval.
  • Attending internal training sessions to enhance leadership skills.

  • Possess good understanding about Accounting and Financials.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Effective English communication skills.
  • Team Player.
  • Ability to work under stringent deadlines.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving attitude
