Job Title: Life Skills/ soft skills/ employability skills Trainer- in Jharkhand, India Organization: PREJHA (PanIIT Alumni Reach for Jharkhand Foundation)

About the Role: Prejha is seeking a dynamic and passionate Employability Skills Trainer to join us in Jharkhand. The trainer should play a crucial role in empowering candidates through training in essential life skills, enhancing their personal capacity for professional growth, and preparing them for sustainable employment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct engaging suitable training sessions for candidates, covering topics such as communication skills, time management, teamwork, decision-making, financial literacy, and workplace etiquette. Training through lots of activities ensuring active engagement of the class will be preferred in comparison to plain vanilla classes
• Customize and deliver PARFI's life skills curriculum to meet the unique needs of candidates from diverse backgrounds
• Motivate and inspire trainees to build confidence, resilience, and a positive attitude toward life
• Adapt training techniques to align with local contexts, ensuring relevance and relatability
• Assess trainees progress through activities, quizzes, and discussions, and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience
• Work closely with vocational trainers and placement teams to ensure holistic development of candidates. Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and candidate progress, and prepare periodic reports for management

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Education, Psychology, or related fields
• Minimum 2 years of experience in life skills training, teaching, or a similar role, preferably in the development sector
• Exceptional verbal and written communication in Hindi and English. Knowledge of local languages (e.g., Santhali, Ho, mundari, kurmali) will be counted as a plus
• Ability to connect with individuals from diverse socio-economic backgrounds
• Creative and flexible in training approaches to cater to different learning styles
• Familiarity with MS Office and digital tools for training delivery
