Medical Coding Specialist

Role & responsibilities

• Accurately code ICD-10 diagnoses and CPT codes for a variety of medical specialties, with a primary focus on Urgent Care.
• Provide coding expertise for specialties including Cardiology, Surgery, Nephrology, and Infectious Disease.
• Ensure compliance with coding regulations and guidelines.
• Collaborate with our team to meet quality and productivity benchmarks.

Preferred candidate profile

• Certified Medical Coder (CPC, COC, or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong experience with ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Prior coding experience in Urgent Care and/or other provider specialties is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical billing processes and documentation standards.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressure.
