BI Developer

Job Summary: The BI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and delivering high-quality BI solutions that support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, including data models, dashboards, and reports.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
• Integrate Power BI and Power Apps with various data sources, including SQL databases, SharePoint, and other cloud services.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all BI platforms.
• Develop and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure efficient data flow and integration.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to BI tools and systems.
• Stay updated with the latest BI technologies and best practices, recommending improvements as needed.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on BI tools and solutions.
• Document BI processes, solutions, and system configurations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 6-9 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.
• Strong technical skills in BI tools and technologies (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL, etc.).
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and database management.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
