We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and a strong proficiency in the latest SAP technologies. This role requires expertise in RICEF, S/3HANA, CDS views, BAS, Eclipse, RAP, AMDP, Fiori, and OData services. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and implement complex ABAP programs using RICEF methodology (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
- Utilize S/3HANA features like CDS views, Business Application Studio (BAS) development tools, and Eclipse IDE.
- Create robust and reusable ABAP code adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Develop and maintain Remote Access Procedures (RAP) and Advanced Business Application Programming (AMDP) for enhanced functionality.
- Build user-friendly SAP Fiori applications and integrate them with OData services.
- Perform unit testing, code reviews, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to ensure solutions meet their needs.
- Maintain and update existing ABAP programs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest ABAP developments and best practices.
Requirements - 5-10 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong understanding of RICEF methodology.
- Expertise in S/3HANA development, including CDS views and BAS tools.
- Proficiency in ABAP programming language (ABAP/4 and OOABAP).
- Experience with Eclipse IDE and ABAP development tools.
- Experience with RAP, AMDP, Fiori development, and OData services (a plus).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
