Educational Qualifications :

Graduate Computer Science or related field
Postgraduate Computer Science or related field
Specialization/ Computers/ MCA Computers/ M.Sc Any Specialization.

Role Overview :
The Lead Quality Analyst will play a crucial role in shaping the quality standards of our LMS products. This position involves leading the QA team, setting up quality assurance strategies, and collaborating with key stakeholders to deliver a top-tier learning experience. The ideal candidate is an expert in testing methodologies and automation frameworks, with proven leadership skills to mentor a growing QA team.

Objectives of this Role :

Implement thorough testing processes for a high defect-free rate in production releases.
Improve testing coverage and early detection of critical bugs to reduce customer-reported issues.
Increase test automation and maintain automated testing frameworks to reduce manual testing efforts and accelerate release cycles.
Decrease the average bug resolution time through effective defect tracking and collaboration with the development team.
Identify process improvements to reduce the testing cycle time, ensuring timely releases without compromising quality.
Implement new techniques or tools to enhance testing efficiency.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Quality Analysts, Senior Quality Analysts, and QA Engineers, providing guidance and facilitating professional growth.
Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, roadmaps, and test plans aligned with the company s product vision and release cycles.
Establish quality metrics and KPIs to monitor product quality, testing efficiency, and team performance.
Oversee the design and execution of functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing across web and mobile platforms.
Lead the implementation of automated testing frameworks to increase coverage, reduce manual testing efforts, and speed up release cycles.
Establish and maintain a robust defect tracking and management process, ensuring high-priority issues are resolved before release.
Create detailed test reports, dashboards, and quality metrics for stakeholders, providing insights into product readiness and areas of risk.
Identify process bottlenecks and implement continuous improvements to enhance the QA workflow.
Evaluate and implement new testing tools and frameworks to enhance automation capabilities and overall QA performance.
Work closely with Product Managers, Development Teams, and UX/UI Designers to ensure clear understanding of requirements and early involvement in the development process.
Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives), providing insights and feedback to improve product quality.

Required Skills :

8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.

Proven experience in leading QA efforts for web and mobile applications, preferably within the LMS or educational technology industry.

expertise in QA methodologies, test planning, and execution. Proficiency in automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java). Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python). Hands-on experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) and API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured ).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the development workflow (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making. Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Additional Skills :

Proven experience in testing Learning Management Systems or similar educational platforms is a plus. Knowledge of automated testing tools and techniques. Understanding of e-learning platforms and educational technologies. Experience with version control systems and continuous integration processes.
