Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Electrical Designer to support our engineering design team. The ideal candidate will have experience with SP3D, along with a solid understanding of electrical design principles, standards, and practices. The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver designs that meet both project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop electrical design layouts, schematics, and drawings using SP3D software.
- Create and modify electrical systems in SP3D based on project requirements.
- Coordinate with engineers and other designers to ensure the electrical design aligns with overall project goals.
- Prepare and review electrical installation drawings, single-line diagrams, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform design calculations to ensure proper sizing of electrical equipment and components.
- Ensure electrical designs comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Identify and resolve any design-related issues during the design and review phases.
- Support the project team in the preparation of technical reports and documentation.
- Review and check electrical drawings for accuracy and completeness.
- Work closely with other engineering disciplines (e.g., mechanical, civil, and instrumentation) to ensure the integration of electrical systems in the project.
- Assist in the preparation of procurement specifications for electrical equipment.
- Support field installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, as needed.
Requirements - Bachelor\ Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum [X] years of experience in electrical design, preferably within [specific industry, e.g., oil and gas, power, etc.].
- Proficiency in using SP3D (SmartPlant 3D) software for electrical design.
