Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Please note the candidate must have worked or have extensive knowledge of RAG(retrieval augmented generation), and also have good knowledge of vector databases. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU HAVE NOT WORKED ON EITHER OF THEM.

Role & responsibilities

• Model Development & Deployment: Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models using tools like Llama Index, LangChain, Crew AI, Autochain, Whisper CPP, and OpenAI APIs.
• Data Handling & Processing: Work extensively with vector databases such as Chroma, Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, Refdis Vector, or other relevant technologies, optimizing data retrieval and processing for machine learning tasks.
• AI Frameworks & Tools: Leverage advanced AI and ML frameworks to build, fine-tune, and optimize models. Familiarity with Graph RAG, Unsloth, and other ML tools is a strong plus.
• API Integration: Integrate machine learning models with existing platforms and applications using OpenAI APIs or other relevant technologies.
• Collaboration & Innovation: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to deliver high-impact solutions. Contribute to ideation, prototyping, and product development.
• Research & Development: Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning, AI, and vector database technologies. Contribute to the development of innovative solutions and improvements in the AI domain.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in machine learning, with a focus on model development, deployment, and optimization.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using tools such as Llama Index, LangChain, Crew AI, Autochain, Whisper CPP, OpenAI APIs, Graph RAG, Unsloth, and similar ML tools. Strong knowledge of vector databases like Chroma, Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, Refdis Vector, or equivalent.
• Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python, and familiarity with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
• Database Management: Strong understanding of embeddings, vector databases, and optimization techniques for high-performance data retrieval.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaboration: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative startup environment.
