Assistant Account Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and filing of GST, TDS, income tax, and other indirect taxes.
• Ensure timely compliance with tax regulations, including tax audits, assessments, and filings.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closings.
• Prepare and review balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial documents.
• Provide tax-related guidance for internal teams and ensure proper tax planning.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and consultants to resolve tax-related issues.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and optimize tax liabilities.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all tax filings, payments, and related documents.
• Checking of accounting & maintain AP, AR & Cashflow

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• MBA Finance will be preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting with a focus on taxation.
• In-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax, and other applicable taxes.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
