Manager-General Trade

Key Responsibilities:

• Research market trends and identify profitable trading opportunities.
• Negotiate with suppliers and buyers to secure favorable terms.
• Manage the procurement and distribution of goods.
• Oversee stock levels and manage inventory.
• Coordinate with shipping and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and trade laws.
• Monitor and analyze trading performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Develop and maintain reports on trade activities and financial outcomes.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to handle payments, billing, and financial records.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of the products being traded and their respective markets.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in trading software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Knowledge of international trade laws and regulations is a plus.
• Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, or related fields (preferred).

Experience:

• 5-8 years of experience in trading or supply chain management (preferred)
