Designation: Deputy Manager Tax and Regulatory

Overview:

Reporting to the Tax Lead - Tax and Regulatory, the individual will be responsible for managing all the direct and indirect tax affairs as well as regulatory matters of the OUP entities in India. This will involve close interaction with local management, business and central group teams.

The individual is required to develop strong relationship with internal stakeholders as well as external consultants and tax officials.

Key responsibility Areas:

• Manage the corporate income tax and GST compliances for OUP entities in India including but not limited to annual tax returns, advance tax computation, Transfer pricing, GST monthly returns and annual returns.
• Manage the department audits of income tax and GST with the help of consultants in order to satisfactorily address all queries.
• Act as primary point of contact for all corporate tax and GST related queries of the business.
• Manage corporate secretarial compliances for all OUP entities in India.
• Manage RBI compliances for all OUP entities in India.
• Assist in undertaking group tax reporting and also complete internal trackers.
• Manage the documentation related to inter-group transactions by coordinating with various local / group teams.
• Control all tax balances and ensure timely reconciliations.
• Participate in planning activities for new products.
• Act as repository for all inter-group agreements.
• Assist in ad-hoc projects as and when required.

Qualification:

• A Qualified Chartered Accountant with overall experience of 5 to 8 years. Company Secretarial qualification will be an advantage but not necessary.
• Experience in managing taxation (Direct and Indirect) including transfer pricing and Company law.
• Strong functional and execution capabilities in Finance, accounts, tax and corporate law domain with good analytical skills.
• Proficiency in numerical and data analyses.
• Experience in using SAP.
• Good communicator, with fluent written and spoken English.
• Well-organized, self-motivated and able to effectively prioritize and manage a broad and demanding workload.
