Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to join our team in the fast-paced and rapidly evolving FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry. This role will require a hands-on approach in field marketing, driving sales growth, and managing vendor registrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG sales, deep understanding of the market, and proven ability to execute effective sales strategies in the field.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership:
    • Drive regional sales growth and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
    • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives, ensuring they are aligned with sales objectives.
    • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Field Marketing & Sales Execution:
    • Execute field marketing campaigns and sales promotions to increase brand awareness and drive product sales.
    • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment between field sales activities and overall marketing strategies.
    • Oversee the execution of in-store and outdoor activations, ensuring all materials and campaigns are effectively rolled out.
  • Vendor Management & Registrations:
    • Identify, approach, and onboard new vendors to expand the companys distribution network.
    • Manage the end-to-end vendor registration process, ensuring all necessary documentation and compliance requirements are met.
    • Foster strong, long-term relationships with vendors, ensuring smooth communication and partnership.
  • Market Development:
    • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to develop strategies to stay ahead in the market.
    • Identify new business opportunities in underserved areas and work with the sales team to penetrate these regions.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with key retail partners, wholesalers, and distributors.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    • Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance, market activities, and field marketing outcomes.
    • Conduct sales forecasting, pipeline management, and data analysis to track performance and adjust strategies as needed.
    • Track field marketing ROI and ensure initiatives are aligned with broader sales goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and field marketing within the FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth.
  • Strong experience in vendor registration, onboarding, and relationship management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and handle a fast-paced work environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (Salesforce, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen ability to interpret market data.
  • A deep understanding of FMCG products, retail dynamics, and consumer behavior.
