Role & responsibilities
1. Policy Development and Compliance:
*Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures in line with government
regulations and best practices.
*Ensure adherence to applicable laws, guidelines, and standards in all tendering activities.
2. Stakeholder Coordination:
*Collaborate with internal departments to understand requirements and timelines.
*Liaise with external stakeholders and government authorities
3. Tender submission
*Supervise the preparation and submission of tender documents for IV, PN and EN
4. Risk Management:
*Identify and mitigate risks related to procurement activities, such as fraud, delays, or non-compliance
5. Team Leadership:
*Manage and mentor the tender division team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
*Conduct training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
6. Performance Monitoring:
*Establish performance metrics and monitor the efficiency of the tendering process.
*Regularly report to senior management on tender activities and outcomes.

8. Cost Analysis:
*Analyze and compare bids to ensure competitive pricing and optimal value.
9. E-Procurement Implementation:
*Oversee the adoption and use of e-procurement platforms to streamline tender processes.
*Stay updated on emerging technologies to enhance procurement efficiency.
10. Data Management:
*Maintain accurate records of all tendering activities for audits and future reference.
*Utilize data analytics to improve decision-making and transparency.
