Assistant Supervisor (Weld Shop)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure quality welding work by monitoring production processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
  
• Conduct regular inspections to detect defects and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of weld shop operations, including MAG/MIG techniques. Robot Programming.
  
• Collaborate with team members to optimize productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
  
• Provide guidance on best practices for welding procedures, safety protocols, and equipment maintenance.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 2-6 years of experience in a similar role within an automobile manufacturing environment.
  
• Strong understanding of MAG/MIG techniques; ability to develop expertise quickly.
  
• Excellent communication skills; ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
