Unit Incharge

Purpose:

1. Achieve production target through monthly, weekly, daily and hourly production plan

2. Minimizing rejection at various stages by ensuring high quality standards

3. Maintaining the cost effectiveness of the unit/plant

4. Planning production to ensure delivery of products as per customer requirements

5. Motivating the team members towards work and maintaining high morale

6. Ensuring adherence to safety standards

Role & responsibilities:

1.1 Conducting shiftwise PDCA for meeting the production, quality and delivery targets

1.2 Maintaining DWM records in the respective zones

1.3 Planning die setup changeover

1.4 Providing recommendation and feedback during EJO process Improving the process continuously through application of SPC

2.1 Carrying out cell audit on adherence to standards / SDCA of part and process

2.2 Meeting next customer on Q & D complaints & taking corrective actions

3.1 Controlling and minimizing wastages

3.2 Auditing deployment of workmen and organizing resources

4.1 Communicating effectively with Purchase, Marketing and Production teams and ensuring ontime delivery of manufactured components as per the production plan

4.2 Identifying the interruptions in operations and making contingency plan

5.1 Conducting sunrise and sunset communication to team leaders

5.2 Resolving / escalating issues raised by team leaders

5.3 Reviewing and counselling workmen on attendance & efficiency

5.4 Participating actively in TEI activities (CFT/SIT)

6.1 Auditing and improving 2S, JH and safety

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma or BE/B.Tech with min. 15 to 20 years of experience of Aluminum Machining experience in production
