Job Description
Qualifications Basic
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution
- 3-8 years of relevant experience in OSI Soft PI Suit of products
- Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline
Responsibilities:
- Installation and configuration of PI Server, AF Server and other OSI PI Suit of products
- Installation and configuration of different types of interfaces (PI OPC DA, OPC HDA, PI to PI, PI UFL and PI RDBMS) as per requirements
- PI Collective and AF Collective Setup
- Understand business requirements and define the solution
- Creation of AF Element templates and AF Elements
- Creation/modification of PI tags
- Configuration of PI AF Analytics, PI Notifications and PI Event Frames
- Creation of PI displays (PI Vision/Coresight/Process Book) and PI Datalink reports
- Interact and communicate with onsite for support and hand/takeover of activities across time zones.
Preferred
- Ability to read P&IDs
- Experience in process control design and detail engineering
- Good experience in PI AF
