- Experience with Workforce Planning Use cases and Preferably Implementation experience.
- A workforce planner's job is to ensure an organization has the right people with the right skills at the right time to meet its goals.
This involves:
- Analyzing and forecasting
- Gathering and analyzing information about the current workforce and future needs
- Identifying gaps
- Identifying potential issues that could affect future demand
- Developing a plan
- Creating a plan to meet the organization's needs, including a timeline for bridging the gap between the current and future workforce
- Implementing actions
- Taking steps to develop and build on the existing workforce to meet the plan
- A workforce planner's responsibilities may also include: Preparing dashboards that forecast staffing and work volume, Comparing actual results to forecasts, Identifying areas for improvement, Recommending solutions, and Completing workforce data returns.
- A workforce planner should have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
