Jr. Engineer - Finishes and fit-outs

Role Objective:

We are looking for a skilled Junior Engineer - Finishes & Fit-outs, you will be crucial to the successful execution of Organo Homes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and meeting customer requirements. Your primary responsibility involves understanding and validating drawings from various disciplines (civil, electrical, plumbing, interiors, etc.) to ensure precise execution as per approved plans. You will also be responsible for on-time, on-budget and quality assurance on site of your project/villas.

Role & responsibilities

1. Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of finishes and fitout projects from concept to completion.
2. Collaborate with project leads, architects, designers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met within established timelines and budgets.
3. Conduct on-site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with specifications and industry standards.
4. Prepare and review drawings, schedules, and other project documentation as required.
5. Assist in the selection and procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
6. Assist in the coordination and supervision of finishes and fit-outs installation activities on construction sites.
7. Inspect and ensure the quality of finishes and fit-outs work, including tiles, paints, sanitary fixtures, and other elements.
8. Collaborate with the design team to review design drawings, specifications, and material samples related to finishes and fit-outs.
9. Monitor the progress of finishes and fit-outs installation to ensure adherence to project schedules and budget constraints.
10. Address any issues or discrepancies related to finishes and fit-outs promptly and effectively.
11. Assist in the preparation of reports, documentation, and progress updates related to finishes and fit-outs activities.
12. Support in resolving technical queries and providing technical assistance to the project team as needed.
13. Strong communications skills (visual communications, verbal, and written communications) with teams and customers
14. Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
15. Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and advancements in finishes and fitout technology.

Technical Knowledge:

• knowledge in finishes and interior fitout installation in construction projects is preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.
