Business Development Lead

• Candidate must have proven experience in B2B sales of POS software in Food industry.
• Should be able to lead & guide the team to achieve and exceed the set targets.

As the Business Development Lead (B2B Sales), you will drive the growth and success of our B2B sales initiatives by leading a team, developing strategic customer relationships, and exceeding performance benchmarks. This role demands expertise in field sales, strong leadership, and exceptional customer management capabilities.

Role & responsibilities

• Sales Leadership: Achieve and exceed sales targets (monthly, quarterly, and annually) while guiding and motivating the sales team.
• Customer Engagement: Sustain and optimize customer interactions to enhance satisfaction, improve sales assistance, and maximize performance.
• Strategic Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, managing claims settlement and ensuring visibility across target markets.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee the preparation of quotations, invoices, and presentations tailored to customer needs.
• Payment Management: Ensure timely follow-ups for payments to maintain seamless cash flow.
• Field Sales Execution: Actively engage in lead generation, product demonstrations, and deal negotiation across the assigned territory.

Preferred candidate profile

• Educational Background: Any Bachelors degree
• Experience: Proven track record in B2B sales and field sales of software for food industries such as POS for Restaurants.
• Skills:
• Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and regional languages (preferred).
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM tools and MS Office for accurate reporting and analytics.
• Mobility: Own a two-wheeler with a valid license; readiness to travel extensively within the city.
• Attributes: Self-motivated, team-oriented, and adaptable to dynamic field sales environments.
• Availability:
