ServiceNow Developer/Architect - ITSM/ITOM Module (7-12 yrs)

Job Title : ServiceNow Engineer - Architecture Focus

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Consultant with strong architecture expertise to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders, guide technical teams, and provide strategic recommendations to ensure the platform aligns with organizational goals while maximizing efficiency, scalability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Architecture and Design :

- Develop and implement scalable ServiceNow architecture solutions based on best practices.

- Design and document complex workflows, integrations, and data models within ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SecOps, etc.).

- Ensure architectural solutions meet security, performance, and compliance standards.

- Provide technical expertise on ServiceNow's platform capabilities and roadmap alignment.

2. Solution Delivery :

- Lead the end-to-end implementation of ServiceNow projects, ensuring alignment with business requirements.

- Build integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, and other integration methods.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, design documents, and data models.

- Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to platform guidelines.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration :

- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation and adoption of the ServiceNow platform.

- Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic input to help shape IT transformation initiatives.

4. Governance and Optimization :

- Establish and enforce architectural standards, frameworks, and best practices.

- Conduct platform assessments to identify areas for optimization and improved performance.

- Proactively recommend enhancements to improve user experience and meet evolving business needs.

Qualifications :

Required Skills and Experience :

- 7+ years of experience in ServiceNow implementation and consulting roles.

- Proven experience in designing and implementing ServiceNow architectures for enterprise-scale organizations.

- Expertise in key ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or SecOps.

- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API) and development.

- Strong integration experience using REST, SOAP, JSON, and other APIs.

- Knowledge of ServiceNow governance frameworks, CMDB design, and data management.

- Solid understanding of ITIL, ITSM, and ITOM best practices.

Preferred Skills :

- ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist, Certified Application Developer).

- Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Custom Reporting.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for ServiceNow implementations.

- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to lead workshops and articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Educational Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
