Job Description

As a Senior Software Development Engineer on the Marketplace team, you will help lead our development efforts as we build the technology platform that will act as the central marketplace for our cloud s software offerings. You will be a core contributor on a team of software engineers working to grow and scale our service.

The Marketplace team will be responsible for building the services where our customers will go to purchase pre-configured software installations on the platform of their choice. The challenges here are across the entire stack, from back-end distributed services operating at cloud scale, to e-commerce transactions, to the actual web apps that users interact with. This is the perfect role for someone experienced in writing code across an entire stack, especially in a start-up style environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant work experience.
4+ years of software development experience.
Proficient in Java and/or GoLang, Python, algorithm design, object oriented design, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
Proficient in Javascript, Web UIs, HTTP.
Experience with designing, coding, debugging, launching and maintaining distributed systems at scale.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience building distributed cloud services.
Experience with virtualization and orchestration stacks.
Experience in designing and building easy to use web UIs.
