Job Description for JD Edwards Technical Consultant:
Over 10+ years of experience in JD Edwards Development, primarily with an upgrade expertise
In-depth knowledge of the JDE E1 Tools Set, including OMW, Form Design, Report Design, BSFN/NER, Data Dictionary, MBF, UDC, and familiarity with C/C++
Skilled in retrofitting JDE objects during major version upgrades and ensure compatibility and system integrity
Hands-on experience in integrating JDE with external systems/integrations (3rd party products) using modern methodologies like JDE Orchestrator (REST APIs), Logic Extensions, BSSV, and EDI methods
Advanced Report Writing/ One View Reporting, Table Conversion, Workflow & Distribution Lists, Good Knowledge of Database and SQL Queries
Expertise in handling UDOs like Form Extensions, Grid Formats, Form Personalization, and JET Charts (UX One) for enhanced user experiences
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve issues in both standard and custom objects
Good understanding on JDE modules like Inventory / Procurement / Finance / Sales & Distribution
Excellent communication skills, enabling clear & timely updates to team members, business stakeholders, customers and end-users.
