Core Banking Technical Implementation Specialist

Role

1. To participate as Senior Technical team member in Development or Implementation or Managed Service activity streams such as Migration, Integration, Testing support and coordination with other Oracle teams at client locations or offshore teams for various activities.
2. Assist with analysis, design and implementation of solutions for various business requirements.
3. Develop programs as per specifications/requirements given by Oracle / Client within planned schedule.
4. Use defined standards/tools/processes to achieve deliverables that meet quality expectations of Oracle / Client.
5. Document all work in accordance with agreed standards/processes applicable for Oracle / Client.
6. Adhere to defined Change Control Process of Oracle / Client. Align with Oracle / Client audit / Compliance requirements.
7. Ensure quality code delivery.
8. Perform proper handover / knowledge transfer at end of each assignment.
9. Timely status reporting to supervisor.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience of 8 to 10 years with at least 10 years in primary skill areas(I

Primary Skills

• Possess knowledge and skills in software programming in Core Java, J2EE, Microservices related technologies, Spring boot, JavaScript, XML. Experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle Database (19c. 23c) is a plus.
• Exposure to software deployment and troubleshooting on Application Server software especially Oracle Weblogic
• Working knowledge of Release management and Source control tools
• Able to perform issue tracking for applications and follow-up for resolution of same with stakeholders
• Good client interaction skills in areas including presentation of solutions
• Awareness of banking terminologies and concepts
• Good skills on Microsoft Office, MS Excel, PowerPoint
• Good communication & documentation skills in English

Secondary Skills

• Exposure to Banking Domain
• Exposure to software development processes and practices, DevOps tools, Testing tools
• You possess knowledge of OAS,
• Aware of the newest technologies used in Banking

Educational and Other Qualifications

• Should hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent degree!

Work Environment

• Should be based out of Mumbai and Willing to work at Mumbai offshore as well client locations.
• Should be willing to take up Oracle Banking / FLEXCUBE Technical certifications in functional areas as and when required.
• Ability to work in a high pressure, fast moving and challenging environment
• Should be able to work on shifts on rotation basis based on project needs
