Job Description

As an Interface Architect in Consulting Org Tech Delivery, you will be designing, installing/configuring Oracle Cerner interfaces to connect with disparate systems. You will be responsible for interacting with the Customers to understand the interfacing needs, effectively design a solution and work with Interface Engineers to implement the same. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex interface issues, which would require a good understanding of networking, database querying and programming concepts .

Interface Architect is also expected to support interface validation / testing / deployment / documentation during the life cycle of the project. The role requires constant communication with the customers, vendors and project counterparts during the project cycle, which will call for working during the first half of the US working day. 5+ years of industry experience is mandatory. Past experience on any integration engines such as (Open Engine, OpenLink, Mirth, Cloverleaf, Corepoint etc.) and HL7/X12 standards is mandatory .

Career Level - IC2

As an Interface Architect, you will plan and oversee interface installation.

Responsibilities include:

Lead interface projects and provide senior-level guidance to employees and customers for interface architecture and design.
Lead complex interface design and specification review sessions with customers. Design complex interfaces to align to project scope.
Monitor interface project progress to assess and manage project risk and ensure quality assurance.
Manage changes and project activities and communicate with impacted associates or customers.
Mentor and support employees in daily tasks and troubleshooting.
Drive interface testing strategies with solution and project teams.

Basic qualifications:

At least 5 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education including:

At least 5 years Interface Engineer/Systems Engineer
At least 5 years work experience supporting a healthcare environment directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education including:
Bachelors degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; or equivalent relevant work experience.
HL7 work experience.
