Job Description

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain components of the overall platform development environment, which may include components within the core application, components in the platform layer, components of the platform development environment, and integration components with development tools.
Create prototypes and provide guidance to scrum team on creating solutions on top of NetSuite platform.
Strong focus on cross team collaboration across the group, leading the technical activities at group level.
Groom the leads of team across globe and help them in identifying the inter communicating modules and impacts during development.
Develop platform components in areas ranging from customization and workflow to programming APIs, development and test frameworks, deployment mechanisms, web services and more.
Work closely with platform team and also the core product team.
Architect the solutions, review the designs, provide the assistance to multiple scrum teams with the same.
Be an SME for the tech stack that are being used across the scrum teams.
Working on both development and QA assignments as an One Engineer.
Strong focus on designing efficient, scalable solutions to meet evolving business needs.
Independently investigate, propose options, and implement new functionalities or re-architect existing solutions to address growth.
Collaborate effectively with development teams, product management, and UX to deliver new product offerings while maintaining existing ERP functionality.
Design mid-scale systems with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Provide technical expertise and mentorship to engineers across all levels.
Validate and certify peer engineers work to maintain high-quality standards.
Develop and execute test plans and test cases; design test automation for unit, functional, performance, and scalability testing.
Experience working on web and web services projects with a focus on distributed systems.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent.
10+ years of software development experience with a proven track record of technical decision-making.
10+ years of experience in Java, JavaScript or similar languages (CPP, C#, Python).
SQL database experience with expertise in database-driven applications.
In-depth knowledge of modern web applications, covering the full stack from database to browser.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on efficient system design.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both technical and non-technical.
Experience mentoring and coaching developers to foster continuous growth.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.

Additional Assets:

Experience with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite SuiteScript.
Expertise in building distributed web applications with performance and scalability in mind.
