Member Technical Staff

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

This opening is for a Software Developer position in the Smart View team. Smart View is an Office addin which acts as the Office front end for suite of Oracle products.

We are a growing team of engineers enhancing the Smart View functionality to support Oracles strategic product-Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition(OBIEE) suite and also Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) products.

As part of Smart View development team you will be responsible for developing various modules, features , and functionality for Smart View used by highly critical customer base using C#/C++/.NET/Java And JavaScript. As part of the development process you will be involved in all phases of the development process: design, coming up with functional and design specifications, prototype, develop code, debug, test and integrate with other modules and providers.

Task also involves optimizing different modules for speed and memory usage and leak. Should be able to provide technical guidance and leadership, promote and enforce development life cycle best practices, manage and interact with product management, quality engineering teams and developers from various teams on a daily basis. Able to perform in a very dynamic, tight time frame, team-oriented, environment and work with well with other team-members. Also analyze and help to analyze complex problems and come up with solutions.

Strong working knowledge of all the major office tools including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook.

Experienced Visual Studio Developer including C++, MFC, and C#

Experience with .NET and .NET tools including VSTO

Experience with REST API or Web Services

Experience with JavaScript and Java

Advanced User on Windows OSs including, Windows 7, Windows 10 .

Strong Object Oriented programing skills and familiar with Object Oriented design patterns

Working knowledge of XML, JSON

Knowledge of Machine Learning, Experience in Python, Experience in AI Development
