Program Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Adherence to policies, standards, and frameworks (e.g. SDLC, Change Management, Risk & Security)
• Solid, reliable judgement and can make effective risk-value decisions under ambiguous and/or difficult circumstances
• Identifying opportunities to improve the quality and effectiveness of change, in parallel to promoting an open and inclusive environment
• Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc).
• Guiding the team on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers
• Guiding the team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks.
• Ensure that the team is adhering to the Scrum methodology and foster best practices in the team
• Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.

Preferred candidate profile

• 6+ years of strong experience as a Program/Project Manager.
• Follows Scrum agile model.
• Exposure towards SDLC and Agile practices.
• Should be good at Stakeholder negotiation.
