Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance and support on day-to-day activities.
Conduct performance evaluations and career development plans for team members.
Foster a collaborative environment to encourage knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.
Test Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, test plans, and test cases that align with project requirements and timelines.
Coordinate and prioritize testing efforts across multiple projects, ensuring high-quality delivery.
Identify potential risks early in the project lifecycle and work with teams to address them.
Test Execution & Automation:
Oversee the execution of functional, regression, integration, and performance tests across various platforms.
Ensure thorough test coverage through manual and automated testing.
Lead the development and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworks.
Process Improvement:
Advocate for and drive the adoption of best practices, tools, and methodologies for improving the QA process.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, scope, and timelines.
Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure quality standards are met and issues are resolved quickly.
Report on quality metrics and testing progress to leadership and stakeholders.
