Senior Manager General Ledger

About Role. At OnePlus we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Individual to oversee the day-to-day operations of the general ledger accounting function. The Senior Manager will lead a team of accountants, ensuring the accurate and timely completion of tasks, adherence to accounting policies, and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate has a strong background in general ledger accounting, excellent leadership abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Role & Responsibilities. Manage the day-to-day operations of the general ledger accounting function. Supervise and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks. Perform and review complex general ledger account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies or issues identified.

Ensure adherence to company accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing and reviewing journal entries and financial statements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance, tax, and audit, to support their information requirements and provide accurate financial data. Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the general ledger function.

Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance and implement necessary adjustments. Lead internal and external audits and make sure it completed before due dates with minimum remarks/observations. Support special projects, such as system implementations or process enhancements, and actively contribute to their successful completion. Preferred Candidate Profile.

A candidate should be a professional CA with 8-10 years of experience. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. Experience with SAP or Oracle is a plus.
