Business Development cum Operations Manager- Facility Management

Role & responsibilities

• Develop Growth Strategies: Design and implement business development strategies to grow the company's market presence and client base.
• Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps in the facility maintenance industry. Understand customer needs and competitor offerings to develop competitive strategies.
• Financial Forecasting: Prepare forecasts of sales, revenue, and market share growth. Track progress against business development goals and adjust strategies as needed.
• Lead Generation: Identify and prospect new business opportunities, including potential clients in need of facility maintenance services such as commercial real estate, industrial complexes, and office buildings.
• Client Engagement: Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, such as facilities managers, property managers, and business owners, to understand their needs and propose customized maintenance solutions.
• Account Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business. Act as the point of contact for clients during and after the sale.
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms of contracts, service agreements, and pricing to close deals, ensuring the agreements meet both the clients and the company's objectives.
• Identify Strategic Partnerships: Explore partnerships with other service providers, such as cleaning companies, security services, or construction firms, to offer a full range of facility management services.
• Industry Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and seminars to build relationships and enhance the companys visibility in the facility management sector.
• Maintain Industry Knowledge: Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, regulations, and technology developments to remain competitive and offer innovative solutions to clients.
• Client Feedback: Regularly check in with existing clients to assess satisfaction levels and identify areas for service improvement or additional opportunities for service offerings.
• Resolve Client Issues: Address any concerns or problems from clients regarding service delivery, quality, or cost, and work toward resolution while maintaining positive relationships.
• Collaborate with Operations: Work closely with the operations and service delivery teams to ensure that the companys capabilities align with client expectations and project requirements.
• Align with Financial Teams: Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate pricing, cost analysis, and profitability for each potential project or client.

Preferred candidate profile

A Graduate with MBA preferred with min. 10 yrs experience in Facility Management Services industry.
