Principal Software Engineer

Your Impact:

An experienced cloud architect/developer who can assist product development in architecting, developing and re-engineering applications that can fully leverage the Cloud platforms. Develops and/or executes implementation according to project plans and priorities. Product development including cloud app & infrastructure, patches, operating system modifications, etc. Plans, designs, develop and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products.

• Contributes technical expertise to help determine requirements and functional specifications for entire system.

What you need to succeed :

• Excellent technical knowledge of Java stack including J2EE, Servlets/JSP/XML
• Must have hands-on experience with OpenTexts Documentum. Experience in building Documentum custom applications is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript; XML, JSON, SOAP, WSDL and other web services.
• Working experience in different application servers like Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic, WebSphere etc.
• Working knowledge of various operating systems including Windows, UNIX flavors
• Strong background in Object-oriented programming and Design Patterns
• Hands-on working experience with Hyperscalers(GCP, AWS and Azure), Kubernetes and Helm
• Prior experience in Off-cloud to On-Cloud migration is an advantage.
• Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with senior executives and growing cloud consumption share in large or highly strategic accounts
• Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication
• Problem solving skills, and good communication skills.
• Ability to analyze information and draw accurate conclusions.
• Time management skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to influence others to achieve results, and presentation skills.

• Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (or) equivalent
• 11+ years of Software industry experience
