Role Summary :

We are seeking a strategic and innovative Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead Onward Technologies' IT function, ensuring alignment between technology and business strategies. This executive role involves driving digital transformation, Technology management and innovation to support the company's growth across global markets.

As CIO, you will be responsible for developing a robust technology roadmap, fostering client-focused innovation, and ensuring a secure and scalable digital/IT systems & infrastructure.

Here's a breakdown of the key responsibilities :

Responsibilities :

Strategic Leadership :

- Develop and implement a forward-thinking IT strategy that aligns with Onward Technologies' business goals.

- Automate and drive operational efficiencies all Banking / Finance / Commercial / HR / audit related processes globally.

Technology Management :

- Oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of software systems and solutions.

- Manage IT infrastructure, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.

- Evaluate emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Client-Focused Innovation:

- Collaborate with clients in USA and Europe to understand their offshoring/ near shoring needs and create customized, highly secured flow of information between both the organization.

Operational Excellence :

- Define and enforce best practices for IT governance, data security, and compliance.

- Ensure on-time and within-budget delivery of key technology projects.

Team Leadership :

- Build and nurture a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and growth.

- Invest in talent development to ensure the team remains at the forefront of technological advancements.

Financial Oversight :

- Manage IT budgets effectively, ensuring cost optimization without compromising quality.

- Monitor and improve key financial metrics, including operating margins and ROI on technology investments.

Risk Management :

- Implement robust cybersecurity strategies to safeguard sensitive data and systems.

- Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

Required Skills and Qualification :

- Overall 15+ years of experience with at least 5 years in IT leadership roles, including digital transformation and operational excellence in ER&D / IT services Outsourcing / offshoring Organization.

- Proven expertise in developing and implementing technology strategies aligned with business objectives.

- Experience in delivering innovative, client-focused digital and engineering solutions.

- Strong experience in software development, IT infrastructure management, and data & cybersecurity.

- Ability to oversee the deployment and maintenance of high-performing, secure, and reliable IT systems.

- Proficiency in managing IT budgets, optimizing costs, and driving ROI on technology investments.

- Knowledge of IT governance, regulatory compliance (i.e., ISO 27001, GDPR), and risk management.

- Strong track record in leading high-performing teams and fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.

- Expertise in business continuity planning, disaster recovery, and risk mitigation strategies.

- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related engineering fields is required.
