Job Description
- IoT Development: Design, develop, and deploy IoT solutions using Raspberry Pi, Arduino Uno, and other relevant hardware platforms.
- Software Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Python for various IoT applications.
- API Integration: Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between IoT devices and cloud services.
- Cloud Integration: Deploy and manage IoT solutions on Microsoft Azure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security of cloud-based applications.
- Database Management: Design, implement, and manage databases to store and analyze data from IoT devices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, data scientists, and product managers, to deliver comprehensive IoT solutions.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Identify and resolve IoT devices, software, and network connectivity issues.
Preferred candidate profile
- Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in IoT development, including hands-on experience with Raspberry Pi and Arduino Uno.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python; experience with other programming languages is a plus.
- Frameworks: Strong knowledge and experience with the Flask framework.
- API Development: Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure; familiarity with other cloud platforms is advantageous.
- Database Skills: Proficiency in database design, management, and querying (eg, SQL, NoSQL, Python).
- Problem-solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and fix complex hardware and software issues.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools in the IoT space.
